From an idea to series seed investment with Xenia Muntean
This private event is open only to current investors or those interested in investing in startups in the following 12 months.
We continue with our monthly talk series with experienced investors and startups. This time, we’re exploring the other side of the investment journey, focusing on the experience of a startup team working closely with business angels or/and VCs.
In fact, getting an investor to fund your business is not easy. However, even after succeeding in this task, the real work & challenges start.
We have invited a special guest, experienced in this topic - Xenia Muntean, Founder & CEO of Planable (https://planable.io/), she has raised a total of just under $1 Million in funding over 3 rounds. Their latest funding was raised in April 2019, and some of their funding investors are Angular Ventures and Gapminder VC.
Planable is a content review and marketing collaboration platform used by over 5,000 teams behind brands such as Hyundai, Christian Louboutin, Viber, and United Nations.
Xenia has been recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, and she spoke on the Innovation Stage at Cannes Lions in 2018. Xenia graduated from Tim Draper's startup academy in Silicon Valley and took Planable through the Techstars London accelerator in 2017. She has also published a book – The Manifesto on Content Marketing Teams and has launched her own podcast – People of Marketing.
At this event, we will have a real case practice, and we’ll be discussing:
- The value investors bring to startups;
- Challenges startups face while working with investors;
- Communication and interaction between startups & investors.
And much more.
